The Operations and Supply Chain Management Specialisation provides an understanding of, and tools necessary to integrate the functions of procurement, operations, marketing, logistics, accounting, and information technology and create effective supply chain management (SCM) systems. As SCM decisions centre on value-added business processes, it impacts many departments in an organisation such as Finance, Marketing, and Accounting.

 

The Operations and Supply Chain Management specialisation aims to empower BBA graduates to venture into the function area of operations, logistics, or supply chain management and play an effective role in contributing to the competitiveness of any organisation.

1. Operations Manager
The Operations Manager devises strategies and policies to ensure that an organisation meets its goals, analysing their effectiveness and creating strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

2. Quality Manager
Quality Manager ensures that the product or service an organisation provides is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations.

3. Inventory Manager
Inventory Managers are in charge of inventories in a warehouse or similar space. Inventory managers lead a team of inventory or warehouse workers to receive and record new stocks as it comes in, and more stock onto trucks or store shelves as needed.

4. Supply Chain Analyst
Supply Chain Analysts use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance supply chain processes. Responsible for assembling data, analysing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support Supply Ch
